Cars lifted for double yellow line-painting and then fined

차량을 들어올려 2중 황색 주차선(주차금지선) 칠해놓고서는 벌금 부과

 

An English council has apologised after issuing fines to cars after lifting them up to paint yellow lines underneath.

영국 의회는 차량을 들어올려 2중 황색 주차선을 칠하고서는 벌금을 부과한 것에 대해 사과했다.

 

The double yellow lines were painted in Earley, Berkshire last Sunday, with parking attendents issuing the tickets soon after the cars were lowered.

2중 황색 주차선은 지난 일요일 버크셔 얼리 지역에 칠해졌고, 주차 단속관들은 차량을 다시 내려놓은 후에 벌금을 부과했다.

 

"It's like a trick has been played on them. The residents can't believe what they've done," a Workingham Borough Council councillor said.

워킹햄 구의회 의원은 "장난하는 것도 아니고 거주자들은 그들이 한 행동을 믿을 수 없었을 겁니다"라고 말했다.
